Eid Mubarak (Happy Eid)

عيد مبارك

Today marks the second Eid on the Islamic Calendar. Unlike the first Eid, which marked the end of Ramadan, this one, Eid-ul-Adha, marks the end of Hajj season (pilgrimage to Mecca). I haven’t been to Hajj yet, but hopefully one day. Watching it is pretty exciting, so I imagine that being there would be a worthwhile experience. Kind of like how watching a sports match on TV is nothing compared to going there live.

I’m planning on making some sweets for the family, but can’t decide on whether I should make cookies or cheesecake. Maybe both?

Hope everyone enjoys their Eid and has a wonderful day. 🙂
