It’s Valentine’s Day in Bonjour Sweet Love Pâtisserie. Let’s hope we get some delicious shots of chocolate!
So who will Sayuri be giving her chocolates to? Probably everyone, since a good reverse harem lead needs to keep their harem in check. Well, at least until the final episode. Even then, there doesn’t have to be a proper conclusion. At the very least, we’ll see them graduate and then Ryou will try to confess only to be interrupted. Everyone laughs, except him, and the show ends with Sayuri’s smiling face. Maybe? It doesn’t matter anyways, because it’s Valentine’s Day and we’ll get to see some chocolates!
She heads to the prep room and starts the long process of making homemade chocolate. Ryou happens to hear her and tries to sneak a peek at what she’s doing, only to be interrupted by the Bishie Trio. They ask what he’s doing and join in on the spying.
They wonder who she’s going to give the chocolates to, but it’s probably everyone.
Ryou is the first one to get it, which pleases him immensely. He’s about to say something cool, only to be interrupted by Sayuri running away to give a chocolate to Gil-Sensei. He’s happy too, but it’s done right in front of Ryou so he no longer feels so special.
Suzumi-sensei gets one too and promises to give her something for white day. Is it wrong that I liked that out of everyone he just accepted it in a normal way? Suzumi-sensei is definitely the best teacher here!
Mitsuki-sensei also shows up at the same time and gets chocolate too…not only for Sayuri, but from Sannomiya too. I had a feeling she’d go the same route that Tachibana Marika did in Nisekoi and I was right.
Say hello to Je T’aime du Mitsuki.
That’s to be expected though. She’s a bit over the top when it comes to Mitsuki-sensei and while this would normally get annoying after awhile, I quite like it here. Sannomiya’s character is done in small doses, so this running gag never gets tired. If she was in every episode acting like this, then I’d get tired of it, but I think the show is doing a good job with her and her craycray love.
She deserves an award for coming full circle, so Sayuri gives her and her minions some chocolate too. Since she still has some more chocolate, Ran ends up getting one as well. Now everyone is happy…except Ryou. He’s happy, but I think he wanted the chocolate all to himself.
You know who we haven’t seen in a long time. The head teacher. She doesn’t get any chocolate though, which is kind of sad. Maybe that’s why she invited Mitsuki-sensei to her office so she can tell him about an invitation to that. She asks him to select people for it, be it teachers or students, so I guess the final episodes of this show is going to have a competition of sorts.
It would be a nice change of pace and we’ll get to see some more sweets as well.
