Second Helpings of the Winter Anime Season part 4

My internet/computer is still suffering, but the month is almost over and all should be right in the world starting next month. Till then, I’ve started crocheting. I’m not good at it, but I think by the time my internet resets itself I’ll have a square. Possibly even a rectangle.

The third/fourth episodes have come out for a lot of these, but I was only able to watch them recently so…here are some more views on the second episode of a few more animes. One more after this!

Juuou Mujin no Fafnir – Didn’t even bother continuing

It’s strange. I enjoyed this a bit more than Absolute Duo, but I couldn’t even be bothered to watch the second episode. I know I said that I dropped Absolute Duo, but I’m still willing to follow through with my three episode rule. Here, I have no desire to and it’s mainly because of the art style and the fact that it’s pretty much the same ol’ story that I’ve seen in a lot of harem animes.

Koufuku Graffiti – Continuing

Head tilts!

If the last episode didn’t feel like Shaft, then this one definitely did. The food on this show always makes me hungry. It looks so good. The episode was normal slice and life stuff. Kirin and Ryou head out for the cherry blossom viewing. Kirin starts to feel a bit down because everyone knows Ryou better than her, but by the end they’re okay and get closer.

It’s a typical cute girls doing cute things anime, so the story itself isn’t anything new, but because of the food porn and the head-tilts I enjoyed it.

Military! – Continuing

Still not sure what to make of this, but I will say that it makes good use of its three minutes. In this episode, a blonde twin-tail was mailed to the MC. She was meant to take him out, but after a series of unfortunate misunderstandings she ended up being flown away while the MC ended up having a gross face.

I still think this is a bit try-hard, but it’s still kind of fun to watch. It’s only three minutes, so it’s not like I’m wasting so much time by watching this. I’ll be continuing this for now and see where it goes.

Tantei Kageki Milky Holmes TD – Continuing

Tantei Kageki Milky Holmes TD

Wow, that escalated quickly. Going into this without knowledge of the series hasn’t hindered my experience in watching this. It’s still fun, still random, but enjoyable. I think after finishing this season I’m going to check out the other editions of the Milky Holmes series.

The Idolm@ster Cinderella Girls – Continuing

THE iDOLM@STER CINDERELLA GIRLSI never understood the need to have a lot of members in a group. If they sing a song, then someone is bound to only get one line and not be remembered as much as the others. The Cinderella Girls have fourteen members, which makes me nervous, because sometimes the characters fall into stereotypes since it’s hard to give each member some substance. Hopefully that doesn’t happen here.

Not much has happened though, but now that we’ve met all of the members of the idol group, I’m sure things will start to pick up now.

Despite thinking that this would be a pretty lacklustre season, there seems to be quite a few shows that I’ll be watching. It’s kind of surprising. I’m not  sure how many of these I’ll actually finish, but hopefully I’ll do well and see everything till the bitter end.

Sengoku Musou, Seiken Tsukai no World Break, and Saekano are left so hopefully my computer will be nice and I’ll be able to finish this tomorrow along with my first impression of Sengoku.
