No baking adventure in Mochiland today. I’ve been sick all week and haven’t been doing much but wonder about life and how things would be if I was healthy. It’s been a very interesting experience.
The class is still on their hiking trip and after their photography competition from the last episode; it’s time for a lunch break. Will we finally get some food? Sayuri wants to talk to Ryou, but he’s girls keep coming up to him and then goes on a walk alone, since Ryou hates things like that.
Mitsuki-sensei sees Sayuri and Ran and invites them to have lunch with him and the other teachers. They’re excited, but decline because they have other things to take care of. He knows though and gives them a good luck charm to help them out.
So the girls go with Mitsuki-sensei and we finally get food! First up is Suzumi-sensei. His obento looks very refined and has tons of class. Plus, it’s so bright that the girls have to wear shades so that they could admire the food properly.
Next up is Gil-sensei and his lunch looks good too, as it has lots of sandwiches and a cute basket. It’s traditional, but simple too so that’s a nice touch. As for the girls, instead of shades, there’s a rainbow of colour that emerges and Ran becomes an art piece.
Mitsuki-sensei is the last one and his has more of an Asian flair, but it looks more lighthearted and calm compared to the sushi platter. To me, it looks like it has the simplicity of Gil-sensei’s lunch along with the refined nature of Suzumi-sensei. Needless to say, it looks good too and the girls go Asian over it.
After so long we got some food…I’m so happy!
The teachers routinely insult the other’s packed bento, which is funny to watch. Each of them wants to be the best, but in the end Sayuri still has to leave so she can make up with Ryou. Mitsuki-sensei does look a bit down though, so does this mean that the two main guys for Sayuri is Ryou and Mitsuki-sensei?
The teachers know this, so they wish her luck and she goes off to find Ryou. She offers him her lunch. Her stomach growls because she didn’t eat anything yet. He laughs, they trade lunches, and more importantly they make up.
I’m happy food made a reappearance on the show, along with the funny antics from the teachers. I love their bickering and over competitive nature whenever it comes to food. It doesn’t matter if it’s sweets or savory delights or even volleyball, the teachers always have to prove that they’re the best. I love it!
